Eckersley Extra Credit

In his lecture, Eckersley talked a lot about how the people are the most important part of a design. These people are not the designers, but the people the product, poster, or service will be distributed to. Because of this, designers have to be able to look at things from multiple points of view and test the designs they are going to produce. By doing this, a designer will have a more truthful idea of what is going on in the piece.

Eckersley's steps for designing

1. Understand the users and the context of the problem
2. Identify the patterns and reframe the problem
3. Create concepts that build experiences
4. Prototype
